Hey All, first time on here. My online days are over, I'm just too old and clumsy to still have the reflexes necessary to participate, but I love creating and running offline championship seasons against AI, at my own speed.
I've enjoyed the Gauntlet track for a couple of years now, but have only used it with CTS physics. I decided to try GNS and Cup physics but have found the 'speed' characteristics are MUCH different. CTS pretty much has the same feel as say Daytona or Talladega, but GNS and Cup seem more like NP (No Restrictor Plate) versions of the same. It's almost a bit too much for me, and I was wondering if there was any way to adjust it down some. Would it be in the "Track" file, where the track number I believe is 4 and the chassis type is 5?
I'd just like to possibly get it slowed down a little, at least like regular superspeedway speeds if possible.
Thanks!

I found my answer after a little bit of searching. In the track.ini within the Gauntlet (or any) track folder, this describes how the variables are used for the "Track Type" and "Chassis Type" lines. With a little experimentation I was able to accomplish what I was looking for.

Also when you change it and the AI is WAY too fast. In each physics there is line called ai_drag_modifier
If they are too fast in the draft raise the number if you feel like they are running to slow in the draft lower the number. It'll be under [ ai_track ],[ ai_track_gns ], or [ ai_track_cts ] sections
