Uninstalled all window 10 recent updates. Any other ideas? If you are running 372.70 NVidia drivers then you need to uninstall them and go back to 355.98 drivers problem with windows 10-Anniversary 1607 not compatible with 372.70 drivers the 355.98 was the 1st drivers I could get to work without a glitch.

If running windows 10 open Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\System Look at what version you got if The Windows 10 Anniversary or Version 1607. Then go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features look for NVIDIA Graphiccs Drivers 372.70. If thats what you got right click uninstall restart computer go to www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx Download and install any of driver version in the Search list released before March 1, 2016 I have not tested any drivers released after that date but I know all drivers before that date will fix problem. I also seen that on September 21, 2016 NVIVIA released the 372.90 but haven't tested them so I don't know if they fix the directx 9 driven games compatibility problem with those drivers If anyone has installed the 372.90 drivers a nr2003 is working please pass on the news.

Uninstalled everything recent, then windows froze up lol! It's been saying windows is starting up as it gives the loading screen, even this morning still. Anyhow, once it decides to let me in, I will see where I am at.

Currently it's stuck at windows resuming...for the past couple evenings. I tried the power button 3 times trick, and hitting f8 a bunch of times and can't get it any options to reboot it. Any ideas or experiences with this?

I am not sure. I haven't had a SINGLE problem with Windows 10 and any application. I know since the Anniversary update, Nvidia drivers had their problems (Don't blame Windows, blame Nvidia). Try just getting it to boot normally and see if their are any updates the Disable DEP again cause the Anniversary update installs a new build which resets DEP.

If it doesnt want to boot up between now and tomorrow, I will drop it off to my local IT shop and let them figure it out. I googled the issue real quick and seems to be more laptop related than anything else.

Any ideas or experiences with this? hold power button down until it shuts down. Now start up and hold down again til shuts off again do this like 3 or 4 times then you should get option screen repair startup or start normal click repair startup Then when it cant fix it will give you a system restore option use it. after restore should boot to desktop. Now call me at 785-438-0848 I will help you fix game.
